Some see crowded pedestrian zones, bustling marketplaces, and hectic shopping centers. Others see only one thing: a stage. In the broadest sense, the public space offers countless opportunities to debut your music, try out new things, and get direct, unfiltered feedback on your music. Here we show you five items you shouldn’t be without at your street gigs.

The name says it all: The »Memphis Travel« guitar stand is probably the most travel-friendly of its kind. Made from aluminum, it weighs just 400 g and is the ideal accessory for your street gigs thanks to its small pack size of just 29 cm. The adjustable support arms ensure that the guitar stand holds both acoustic and electric guitars securely in position.

The street is an extremely demanding terrain – not only for you but also for your equipment. The “Suitable for street gigs” seal is therefore awarded to only those products that deliver just the right combination of flexibility and stability. This is exactly what the 27105 microphone stand is all about. The extendable steel tube combination makes the microphone stand extremely stable. The plastic base allows the microphone stand to be folded to a travel-friendly size. At just under 2.3 kg, it makes the microphone stand a real lightweight. The matching carrying case (21421) is available separately.

In contrast to the robust cajón, your voice is probably the most fragile instrument. Unlike a broken guitar string, it cannot be easily replaced. It is therefore essential to take proper care of your voice. Drinking enough fluids can be the key to success here. The »Biobased« drinks holder is designed for glasses, mugs, and cups and can be attached to all standard stands with a tube diameter of 1 to 3 cm using the metal clamp. This means you will always have your drink at hand during breaks.

As a street musician, you are probably used to standing for several hours. Good footwear for a comfortable stance is therefore often indispensable. The 107 music stand ensures that your sheet music remains securely in place thanks to its stable base construction and large parquet protectors. The music stand can be infinitely adjusted to a height of between 67.5 and 147 cm using user-friendly clamping elements. Despite its extremely sturdy design, you can fold the music stand compactly. Weighing only 2.5 kg, it is quite easy to transport. The 10711 transport bag is available separately.

Your smartphone can also become an irreplaceable gadget for busking.

Forgotten your tuner? No problem! The App Store offers various tuner apps (some of which are free). Misplaced your sheet music? That’s no problem either! Well-known websites such as ultimate-guitar.com can help you out. With the 19755 smartphone holder, you always have your smartphone at hand whenever you need it. Thanks to the ball joint, the holder can be rotated 360°, thereby allowing you to use your smartphone in both portrait and landscape format. The holding arm provides additional flexibility. The smartphone holder can be attached to any tube with a diameter of up to 3 cm.
