Newsroom – the heart of the company´s communication

König & Meyer has been online with a new website just in for “Musikmesse Frankfurt 2011”. Since then you can find at the same URL www.k-m.de a modern well-designed website with an easy to understand and user-friendly navigation and it works also for iPads and iPhones.
The heart of the site is the newsroom, which bundles news, the press area and social media channels.

The website´s conception is to reach different target groups (dealer, consumer, press) and to provide them the desired information directly and precisely.

The “product area” with about 600 products is interesting for all groups, but the dealers have an additional login to the dealer section – so they get some more information about the products and some special news.

In the category “Bands and Artists” all endorsers (artists supported by König & Meyer) have their own individual pages, where their twitter- and facebook feeds are integrated.

The “Support”is another key aspect of the website. In addition to a direct contact forum and the personal contact partners for each company area, König & Meyer points to social media as a support-channel. So there is a twitter support box which enables the visitor to send a tweet with its comment or question directly from the website.

The highlight of the König & Meyer website is the “Newsroom”. In the World Wide Web are lots of websites where the press area and the social media channels are separated from the website.
But the König & Meyer Newsroom has the special feature to bundle all these areas at one place. That was a very important fact for the relaunch of the website. Each target group should get and easily find its information.
In the Newsroom there are the tabs “news”, “videos”, “photos”, “social media”, “press” and “newsletter”. The homepage of the newsroom combines the content of all these tabs and presents an overview for the visitors.
The videos, photos and the social media content are equal for all targeting groups. Here the twitter and facebook feeds are both integrated in a news-stream.
The news is available for everybody and the user can mark the news they like, twitter and share with friends. In addition there is special dealer news. It is just available and visible for the dealers logged in to the dealer section. There they also find some more downloads, press releases or other information.
Especially for the targeting group “Press” there are press releases, press comments and other downloads (e.g. the press kit).
For all groups it is possible to subscribe the individual content of the website.

To conclude, the newsroom is the heart of the website. All information about König & Meyer as well as the social media channels are bundled there.
