In the beginning, König & Meyer focused on measuring instruments and music stands and designed the well-known classic 101. The original model has only changed slightly in 70 years - because it has always stood the test of time.

In 1966, Martin König and his father Karl König designed a stand that replaced the previous screw-in feet with foldable feet, allowing for more flexible use on stage: The legendary 210/2 was born. In the 1970s, an extendable boom arm was added to the stand and another classic, the 210/9, was introduced to the market.

Sound is in. Big concerts, roaring crowds. Speaker stands are needed that are stable, unobtrusive and practical. At the end of the 1970s, the 214/6 speaker stand is launched with a new, innovative height adjustment system consisting of a locking bolt with safety screw on the market and soon becomes the standard for professional installations.
